I was looking through my old mail and found a message that you posted
to UOVGEN on 7/28/00 with a connection to your web page.

I have a Cain / Kain ancestor but know nothing about her. She is Bathea
Kain who married Archibald McArthur. Their daughter, Mary, was born 04
Apr 1828 in Almonte and died 28 Feb 1899. This information is just
from family sources. I have no independent verification for it.

This Mary McArthur went on to marry James McArthur born 15 Oct 1825 in
Glasgow, Scotland. His father was John McArthur born about 1800
Glasgow, died 30 Apr 1879 in Perth, Ontario. His mother was Elizabeth
Grant born about 1800 in Glasgow and died 08 Nov 1878. Again, just
family knowledge.

Have you come across a Bathea Kain who might fit with this
information?

I have all the names you have mentioned in my family tree.
 
I'm still trying to piece together all the names I have received from a second cousin and 
I as well do not have any independent info on it.
 
I come from the McArthur side. Maybe we can help each other?
 
If it's the same Bathea Kain we are talking about, she married Archibald McArthur Sr who was
born Mar 16, 1803. Bathea was born Feb 28, 1803 in Low Lands Scotland Renfrewshire.
