hi,  i am researching my husbands and daughters family.  
 
i have found an article (below) on joseph belland, that i will scan and attach for you.  
his son medore belland had about 12 children, one of which was emma belland who married 
damase marion, who are my husbands grandparents.  the article says that joseph belland 
married elisabeth lapointe, daughter of edouard lapointe, one of the poineers of 
calumet island.  i wil attach several photos.  

emma & damase marion on the front lawn of the belland house in calumet island.  the whole 
family of medore belland, including joseph in the centre.
 
any information that you could point me towards would be wonderful, i would very much
