Hi:
My Uncle John Burns is a grandson of Lawrence & Ellen.
The info I have located for this line thus far;
Lawrence Burns born March 18, 1861 @ Ottawa. He is the son of Michael J
Burns & Catherine O'Brien. I know Michael was born in Ireland, not sure
of the area as yet. I don't have any further info on Catherine O"Brien.
Lawrence married Ellen Cunningham daughter of John Cunningham & Agnes
Trainor, all from County Down Ireland, on November 26, 1889.
Lawrence & Ellen had the following children: John Lawrence, Thomas & Joe.
Lawrence & Ellen lived @ 4 Willow Street Ottawa, and after Lawrence's
death July 1, 1927, Ellen continued to reside there as Uncle John
remembers visiting her at this place.
If you are from this line I would be interested in hearing from you. I
will pass along the info to my uncle.
I'm forwarding this marriage registration for Lawrence & Ellen. This has the
majority of info I've located. I do have the death info for Lawrence. I've also
located death info for a Michael J Burns, I'm not sure that it is Lawrence's father.
Need further investigation.

Hi Al: I found this 1851 census recently for Michael Burns & Catherine O'Brien,
they are living in the Richmond area and most likely Fallowfield.
I know you mentioned that your Burns' livied on Sophia / Willow Street Ottawa,(the
original name was Sophia) which number was it? From info from Uncle John they did
have a store at the corner, not sure if it was # 2 or 4. They would have been related
somehow!!
I've also located a Lawrence Burns married to a Marguerite Doyle of Hull and they
had a son Michael Burns. I'll send you this doc in the next email.
Talk soon,
