Looking for any information about gg grandparents Simon Elliot and Ann Howe 
probably from around Fitzroy Ont. and also where their daughter Margaret Elliott 
COYNE was buried.

Thanks for your e-mail regarding the Howe/Coyne/Elliott families.
 
There are four farms which are on the Belden 1879 map of Fitzroy Township - 
two Elliott farms, one Coyne and one Howe family. These farms all touch each 
other and were just north west of the present day village of Galetta. Would these 
be your folks?

Dear Mr. Lewis,

I am interested in finding out any more information about my family roots
and any other descendants if possible.

I know that John Coyne-great grandfather, came to Canada in the late 1800's.
He lived in the Ottawa valley area for a while before he moved to Chelmsford
with his sons Patrick and Phineas. He was born in Dublin Ireland (when?) and
is buried in the Chelmsford Ontario cemetery.

His son Phineas married Anne McIntee in Arnprior in 1887. The sons ran a
sawmill in Chelmsford until the early 1900's.

Any information about John's time in the Ottawa valley, his wife, his
brothers etc would be appreciated. If none is available is there a source
that I can begin my research with?
