I thought you may be interested in Peter Daly (son of John Daly / Mary McCrank) 
enlistment papers.

Based on the 1901 census, I suspect Peter reduced his age by two years to get 
into the army. He is a big guy 6’3” and like most from the Gatineau – blue eyes.

He is listed as a farmer in High Prairie, Alberta.
