Hello There:
Do you have anymore info on Michael Deevy (one of the first settler's
in Nepean) than the two lines on your site?

There is some mention of Michael Deevy and his family in The City Beyond
by Bruce Elliott. This family was of mixed religion - some Catholics and some Protestants.
In the 1800's the Catholics are found in the registers of Notre Dame, St. Patrick's
(Fallowfield), and St. Philips in Richmond.

Hi,
This is a long-shot, but you wouldn't by chance be the Bonnie who
(many years ago) was going to write a book about the Deavy family? I am the granddaughter
of Bertha and I remember some talk about this when I was young - please let me know...
thanks - Karen Coughlin
