March 12, 2003: Hello There: Do you have anymore info on Michael Deevy (one of the first settler's in Nepean) than the two lines on your site? Bonnie ________________________ There is some mention of Michael Deevy and his family in The City Beyond by Bruce Elliott. This family was of mixed religion - some Catholics and some Protestants. In the 1800's the Catholics are found in the registers of Notre Dame, St. Patrick's (Fallowfield), and St. Philips in Richmond.
September 4, 2003: Hi, This is a long-shot, but you wouldn't by chance be the Bonnie who (many years ago) was going to write a book about the Deavy family? I am the granddaughter of Bertha and I remember some talk about this when I was young - please let me know... thanks - Karen Coughlin
