Hi Folks: I saw Taylor's "George Edge" interests and info in your site Al
so I thought that I would respond to you both. My Grand Aunt Emily E. Brown
b. July 4 1861(census d.o.b.) married Robert Edge b. Apr 3, 1845
(census d.o.b.) and had their first child 1877. Grand Aunt Emily was born
a bit better than a mile North of the Village of Richmond, Ont. and I
believe she met and married Robert in the Richmond area. Included is some of
what I have on that family.

Hello Al & Robert
Let's add some more. Buried at St. Isadores, March Township, George Edge
died January 9, 1868 at the age of 84 years, and his wife Ellen Ryan,
died October 24 18?? at the age of 58 years. Erected by their son Phillip.
Also buried there is Phillip died July 10, 1889 at the age of 75 years.
Can this be the son of George Edge, being born circa 1784?

Hello George Edge reseachers,
My name is Sue Swiggum of TheShipList website. I am in the process of
transcribing the St. Lawrence Steamboat records 1819-1836. They have never
been published before.

I don't know where this George fits in. George of 1784 would only be about
forty, so I suppose could have four children under 12 years . . . hope you
enjoy . . .
. . btw. below the line is a message I'd sent to the Bytown Museum
December 2005, and as they haven't bothered to respond, you are more than
welcome to use the information for your website ;-}
