These three men are on the 1829 McCabe List. They all came from County Cavan
and settled in Goulbourn and Marlborough Townships.

October 20, 2003: Hello Al, James & John Hill from Swaddlenbar/Swanlinbar, Cavan Co., Irel and Carleton Co., Ont are also my families. James is my direct line as they came to Kent. Co. I'm going to Ireland next March and want to get all I can before going and to figure out what I need to look for there. They were not connected in Canada but may have been in Scotland or Ireland. We are still working on them. 1. Florence Grant Hill born about 1874 daughter of Thomas Hill and Mary Grant married Milton Moxley son of James T Moxley and Mary McDiarmid Dec 1897 burial Beechwood Florence Hill born about 1882 parents unknown; 2nd wife of William Cyrus Moxley sometime after 1917, died 1967 Burial St Georges Hawthorne Regards ... Wife Mary born in Que abt 1838 Children John Richard abt 1872 in Ont Florence Grant abt 1875 in Ont Others in household Mary Hill widow 66 born in England Eliza Hill 64 born in Ont Vivian Hill male 29 born in Ont Florence Hill wife of William Cyrus Moxley was the daughter of Ben and Eliza Hill Ben born in Ont July 1852 (1911 census Dist 118 Russell sub 30 Gloucester p 1 line 24 ff) Eliza born in Ireland Mar 1855 (1911 census) immigrated to Can 1871 (line 25) Regards Al Craig
