I'll look into your names and will get back to you if I find out anything.
I don't remember seeing the name LUBY (yet).
I still have some MADDENs to go through. There was a NEVINS family next door
to my GGGrandparents in the 1800's in Osgoode Township. Could they be
yours? Sometimes the name was spelled "EVANS".

Sorry not to be more help yet. Do you mind if I put your e-mail and your
e-mail address on the web site? Maybe someone out there will have some
information.

Skead's Mills was located (in the mid to late1800's) on the Ottawa River,
about 5 or 6 miles west of where the Parliament Buildings now stand in Ottawa.
This area became a village called Westboro, in the Township of Nepean, and
is now a part of the City of Ottawa.

Michael jr.'s daughter, Mary Elizabeth married John Emmett Luby Ottawa 1892
 
She was born Ottawa, lived St. Patrick's parish.
 
Discovered many Maddens in Census and Vital Statistics for Ont - now to (hopefully) find the ones I need.!
 
A Margaret Madden married James Luby 1850 Notre Dame Church Ottawa - her parents not listed on mc.
