For more details regarding the 1842 census, you may have to contact Library and Archives, Canada. There is also a very good
branch of the Quebec Provincial Archives in Hull.

The Anglican Diocese Archives of Ottawa should be able to help you with Births, Marriages and Deaths for the Magwood family.
