Here's another note regarding BRENNAN
Al -
Brennans and Kennys have been the most elusive of our family
history. All we really have are the names and dates of my
great grandparents, and even that is fuzzy at best.
I know that either my grandfather, Bob Brennan, or my great
grandfather, James Brennan, is supposed to have won many
high kicking contests in various Ottawa River taverns.
My great grandmother, Julia Kenny, is supposed to have some
Indian blood, although how much is not clear.
My great grandfather, James Brennan, was killed in a horse
and wagon accident in the Gatineau. His wife, Julia
(mentioned above) later married a man named Milks. She
outlived Mr. Milks as well, and married a man named Pombert.
If you run into any information about these folks, I would
greatly appreciate you letting me know. I'll do the same if
... Bob

Hello Jean
Curious on Brennan in the states. Seeing the names Houlahan, Costello fits into my
line as do the Hawleys, and Michael who came back to Canada for his fathers funeral
worked for the Brennan Lumber Company, a relative, how I don't know, but Mike and
his wife Catherine Kennedy moved back to the States. I can give you a bit more
stats, but you would know if your Brennans owned a lumber company or not. Many
thanks for reading this.
Take care
Taylor Kennedy
