McDermott in Cantley, Quebec

Surname: McDermott, Cavanaugh, Gunn

Michael McDermott, b. 1797 d. 1872 and Hanora Cavanaugh, b. 1803 came from 
county Mayo?, Ireland between 1840-1850 to Cantley, P.Q.
Their children were Mary, b. 1827; Catherine, b. 1831; Julia b. 1834; 
Michael b. 1837; Patrick, b. 1837, d. 1924; and Martin, b. 1841.

Patrick married Margaret Gunn around 1867 she died in 1880. They had 
four sons: Michael, b. 1869; Joseph, b. 1871; Ambrose b. 1876; Paul 
August b. 1879.
Patrick re-married in 1883 to Pamelia McGoey, b. 1859, d. 1928. Their children 
were Anna Theresa b. 1884; Florence Hannah b. 1886; Lillian Mary b. 1888; William 
Patrick b. 1889; Thomas Francis b. 1890; Edward b 1892; Helena b. 1893; Gertrude 
Agnes b. 1895; and Emelie b. 1900.

I have information on many of their descendants. I would be interested in contact 
with any other descendants of Michael and Hanora.

Surname: mcdermott

I am looking for Mary McDermott. I know that she was born
in Ireland in 1808. She married Arnold Graffte, lived in St. Georges, 
Quebec, Canada, and had at least 2 sons, Edward and Thomas. She died 
in 1888. If you have any info on her, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you,

Mary McDermott would be my great grandmother who married Thomas Graffte. One 
of his sons was Ivan, my grandfather. One of his sons was named Thomas E. 
Graffte, my father. My name is the same.
