January 9, 2003:

I am looking for anyone who may  have any knowledge of a Richard Meliphant
who appears  in the 1871 census as being a 80 yr old retired musician living
in Victoria Ward (B).
Also  a Mrs. Mellefont who is buried at Beechwood Cemetery ,Ottawa
(1873-1900) Carleton Ottawa OT-90-05.
 I am hoping to find a link  to the MELLEFONTS (and various spellings) of
Augusta Twp. Grenville Co.
