The above information is taken from a tombstone at St. Mary's Church, South Gloucester (now within the City of Ottawa and now called
"Our Lady of the Visitation").

The McHale family farmed on the east side of Concession 3, Osgoode Township -
today it's the Manotick Station Road. They may have been related to the
JORDAN family who also came from County Mayo and who farmed nearby on
Lot 12, Concession 3. The Jordan farm is today the Sleepy Cedars Campground and
Golf Course.
