MOHR Family: Pioneers in Fitzroy Township, Ontario, Canada
Mohr's Corners

New November 8, 2010:

The MOHR family settled early in the Township of Fitzroy. They had land at Mohr's Corners (south of the village of Galetta),
and 450 acres along the Ottawa River where the Quyon Ferry lands on the Ontario side. They also had timber rights in Onslow,
Pontiac County, Quebec.

The book Beyond our Memory ... A History of Fitzroy Township contains a great deal of historical family history and
also includes a land purchase document involving 240 square miles of timber rights at the Dumoine River. Charles Mohr
signed the document.
