PAYETTE dit St. AMOUR family
Maniwaki, Quebec in the 1800's
February 8, 2009:
I have been researching the Payette dit St. Amour family. I was handed down a photograph (below)
of a Dufour relative having painted a sign saying: A. St. Amour Fur Dealer. I was told that
Simon St. Amour ( ggfather born 1865) had a brother and a son named André (which would
explain the initial A.) I am searching now for written proof, a registry or list of business
occupants in Maniwaki for that period. Can you help?
Best regards.
