Below is Thomas Presley, another Wicklow body (not on the CD that I can see). This 
information is from Ancestry.
 
Thomas's marriage to Catherine Burns is in the Notre Dame records, no parents' names given, 
but William Garrett (from Wicklow) was a witness. I can't find Thomas's death cert., 
but your note on B or B says he was b. Wicklow, according to the death certificate.
 
What's interesting here is that Thomas and Catherine's daughter Roseanne married a 
James Carroll, b. 1832 in Co. Wicklow. James would fit the son, James, of the attached 
FW Carroll family from Ballynultagh, in which case we've found another FW emigre family 
from the CD!! 

First Generation 

      1. Thomas Presley  was born in 1825 in Ireland Co Wicklow. He died on 16 Apr 1883 in 
	  Notre Dame Cemetery Ottawa. 

Source is 1851 and 1871 census as well as St Joseph church registry info 1859 bought lot 12 
and bought 

1870 lot 7 transfered to Joe

The Plantagenet News reported a Sam Presley who died Mar 16 1906 this may be William's 
middle name. 

More research required

Thomas married Catherine Burns on 18 Apr 1842 in Notre Dame Cathedral Ottawa Ontario. 
Catherine was born about 1826 in Ireland, Wicklow County. She died on 3 Dec 1883. 

 

They had the following children:


               2 F         i.  Rosanna Presley  was born in 1842. She died1  on 18 Aug 1878. 

Rosanna married James Carroll  in 1862. James was born on 21 Apr 1832 in Wicklow Ireland. He died on 24 Nov 1910. 


               3 F         ii.  Hellen Presley  was born about 1844. 
 

+          4 M       iii.  William Presley  was born in 1846. 

 

+          5 M       iv.  Stephen Presley  was born about 1850. He died on 11 Oct 1883. 

 

+          6 M       v.  Joseph Presley  was born in 1848. He died on 9 Dec 1918. 


               7 F        vi.  Julia Presley  was born in 1858. She died on 17 Feb 1877 
			   in Notre Dame Cemetary. 
 

Second Generation 

      4. William Presley  (Thomas) was born2  in 1846.

William married Anne Marie Potts .  

They had the following children:

               8 M        i.  William Presley .

William married Zelia Carriere on 7 Jan 1888 in Notre Dame Cathedral Ottawa Ontario. 


               9 M        ii.  John Presley .

John married Lortie Marmandine  on 26 Jul 1896 in Notre Dame Cathedral Ottawa Ontario. 

 

      5. Stephen Presley  "Consumption" (Thomas) was born about 1850. He died on 11 Oct 
	  1883 in Orleans ont. 


Stephen married Marguerite Kenny  daughter of John Joseph Kenny and Catherine 
(Whelan) Phelan on 7 Jan 1875 in St Josephs Church Orleans Ont. Marguerite was born3  on 
17 Apr 1856 in The Farm Greens Creek Gloucester Ontario. She was christened in St Josephs 
Church Orleans Ontario. She died on 18 Apr 1931 in Nelson BC. 

 Moved to Trail BC where they had 3 kids. Katy Legros (Avenue N Ottawa) is a grand daughter 
 of Steven Presley she said that Margaret's husband  died of consumption in BC  when he 
 was 33. She moved back to the farm (The Kenny farm) until the boys were old enough and 
 later she and the boys moved back to Thomas Prestley's Farm which is approximately where 
 Dr Major's castle is located near Greens Creek. The 1891 census shows Margaret Prestley 
 age 31 and her sons Tom 14. John 12 and Joseph 10 on the Prestley farm. later  Tom and 
 Joe went back out west to Trail, BC and John stayed on to farm.
