John SLATER and Bridget TORMEY
County Wicklow, Ireland to Bytown, early 1840's

Hi Al,
 
I don't know if you've heard of this guy, but his death cert is attached, and shows 
him to be from Wicklow. His age exactly fits a John Slater on the FW CD, but nothing 
else does. So disappointing.
 
Below is John Slater in 1881. In 1851 he was a carpenter in Aylmer, Que. His wife and 
family are listed on the following page, next to Bridget Simpson Whelan from 
Ballynultagh, County Wicklow who is on our chart on Bytown or Bust.
