James SULLIVAN and Jane JAMES
Ireland to the Cumberland / Bearbrook area
New June 27, 2005:

Hello Al:

While researching my SULLIVAN family tree, I came across your emails with
Wayne and Debbie and others in your Bytown or Bust website.

I have just begun searching my SULLIVAN family tree and have located my GGG
Grand father James SULLIVAN in Cumberland Twp., Russell Co. Ontario.

I have not been able to tie into any other SULLIVAN family members on the
net todate.

Also, this is not the same SULLIVAN family as Wayne and Debbie. My James
SULLIVAN family is ethnic Irish but Wesleyan Methodist not Anglican and
my James SULLIVAN came from Quebec.

I have included the census records for 1861 and 1881.

Also in answer to you questions:

Absolutely. Please set up a new page on your site for my SULLIVAN ancestors.

I do believe Vars United Church Cemetery, Con. 5, Lot 2, Cumberland
Township, Russell County.

And thanks for your help and I will follow up with Lena regarding
the JAMES surname.

I was wondering how I would search SULLIVAN, James family in province of
Quebec c early 1800's?
... Dave
