February 20, 2003:

I am looking for information on my gggrandfather John Sullivan and his wife 
Johanna Murphey who were both born in Ireland around 1850.  The were married 
in Newport, Rhode Island on December 6, 1870 (they had family there), went 
back to Ireland sometime between 1880 and 1884 and came to Canada sometime 
between 1884 and 1887.  They had seven children:  John, Annie (both born in 
the US), Dora (born in Ireland), Emily, Thomas, Lyla and Kate (all born in 
Ontario, Canada).  Emily and Kate never married and I believe they lived out 
their lives in Renfrew, Ontario.   Do you have these names in your family 
line?  John Sullivan had 2 brothers, Michael and William.  He may have had 
sisters also but I am not aware of any.  Any help would be appreciated.
